Electricity in Phuket is powered by underwater cables, with 220V electricity, plug adapters and power surge protectors are required, and, can be purchased at a reasonable price from any store. A passport valid for 6 months together with visas and return tickets are required travelling to Phuket.
Weather in Phuket has a tropical year-round climate with warm weather and occasional monsoons. April to May and September to October are the hottest months, with September to October being the wettest months due to monsoons.
